Most of us would have watched James Bond movies for its action. Only few of us would have watched it for the amazing Aston Martin cars. Speaking of Aston Martin cars, they are one of the best car makers in the world. And this super car maker has now stepped into the Indian car market. India, the second most populated country and developing in economic power, was very happy to welcome the Aston Martin.

A Memorable Ride

Rode through Snow, Dust, Fog, River, Forest, Markets, Highways and what not... Cant forget the -4 degree blistering snowfall while on the way back from Pangong Tso and taking the offroad track to the lake-side camp in the middle of the night with no clue where we were heading... That was one hell of an experience...Pouring rains, Zero-Visibility Fog, unexpected Snow-fall, Raging rivers in the middle of the so called roads... it was adventure biking at its peak... The friendly Army men in Kargil to the little lamas of Lamayuru, the range of people we met on this great journey was awesome...

The accomodation and things were way beyond expectations... even in places like Lamayuru and Kargil, hospitality was top class...

We had an awesome Bullet Mechanic with us in Naresh... So we were resting assured bout our bikes' condition...

But I thought 15 days were a bit too short...

Anyways...All in all... the 15 days were the best 15days of my life...

Looking forward to exploring the Unexplored and Exotic North-East and other great destiantions with India on Bike...

Batmobile and Batbot of The Dark knight

Warner Bro’s Batman, the Dark Knight was released recently and it is a massive hit. Every scene in the movie was crafted to perfection. Its hard to see an two and half hour English movie and in the Dark Knight, each and every minute is thrilling and awesome. I liked each and every scene of the movie but I felt one scene was more awesome. It was the scene where the Batmobile gets repaired and batman pushes the eject button. I was expecting that the seat would eject like the one in warcrafts. But, the left side of the Batmobile turns into a Batbot and goes cutting the road. The designs of both batmobile and batbot are catchy and every lover of boys toys would love to earn one such beast. I thought those vehicles were graphics but I came to know that they are specially designed and manufactured for the movie. The Batmobile’s engine is a 5.7 liter Chevrolet V8 engine. The car weighs 5000 pounds and can reach the speed of 100 kmph in just 5 seconds. The batbot has the front and rear wheels of the batmobile as its wheels. The handle bar of the batbot looks weird like a war armor protecting the hands of the batman. Turning the shoulder is enough to steer the batbot. The engine of the batbot is placed inside the rear wheel itself. The awesome design of the batmobile and batbot has created a fan follow for itself. And I am one among them. I wish I had any one of these. Hmmm, I know need tons and tons of money for that. Right now, I have to assume my scooty as my batmobile and ride it!!!

Suzuki's superbike in India

Recently, Yamaha launched its superbike Yamaha R15 with 150cc in India. Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache, Honda Unicorn were the competitors in the 150cc market with pulsar leading in the front. But, one great manufacturer who has manufactured the dream bike of the youngsters, Hayabusa hasn’t set foot in the 150cc market. Now, Suzuki has decided to get into the competition as well. Rumors spread that Suzuki has planned to release its FXR 150 in India. But, that’s not true. Suzuki’s 150cc bike will not look like yamaha’s R15. Rather, it looks like more of pulsar. It is NOT FXR 150. Like all other 150cc bikes in the market, suzuki’s new bike has self start, alloy wheels, disc brakes etc. Pursuing Yamaha’s R15, Suzuki’s bike also has six speed gears. This bike will not have Fuel Injection engine. It is guessed that the power would be around 16bhp. This bike is expected to be released this October or November. And another treat waits for the bike loves and youngsters of India. Suzuki may release the dream bike, Hayabusa along with its new 150cc bike this October or November. So, guys get ready for some serious riding.

Cars with internet?

Internet – the word that is ruling the world now. But it has its own limitations. You can't not browse the internet when you are on the move atleast out of an wireless network. Especially when you are driving a car and need to look after your business, send some important mails etc. But the days of internet in your car is no longer. Yes, you can get internet connection in your car but have to wait for this to happen. American automobile manufacturer Chrysler has plans to equip its cars with a system that will enable people to surf the internet while driving. The Uconnect web system is what the company says can bring the wireless internet access to cars’ dashboard. Officials at Chrysler have revealed that Uconnect web uses cellular and WiFi technology to provide instant access to the internet on the move. According to them anyone on the car will be able to check mail, download music, play games and even upload photos. But the company wants to know whether its customers wants such a system to browse behind the wheels. Some other researchers believe that this technology can be used to make cars communicate with themselves so that they could provide increased safety, relieve congestion and manage traffic. Well, if this kind of system do come to exist, then surely it would be cause a revolution in both the automobile and communication fields.

Hybrid Car in India

With the Toyota's hybrid car Prius, getting a grand welcome in US, its rival in hybrid manufacture Honda has planned to target India. But it is not going to release a new model rather it is going to bring in the hybrid technology to the Honda Civic. The Honda Civic hybrid is no different from the ordinary Civic in its external appearence. They have a made a small changes like bigger tyres for better grip etc. Civic hybrid is 1399cc 94 bhp a lot lesser compared to the ordinary civic ( 1799cc 130bhp ) but the Civic hybrid has got a 20bhp electric motor. So, its net power comes to 114bhp. It is 80 kg more than the ordinary model. Interiors are the same like the ordinary version. But since the battery is behind the seats, the boot space has been reduced.
To save fuel, Honda has introduced a new method. When the car is stopped at one place, the engine is autmatically shut down. So, again when you press the accelerator, the car gets turned on. Even after turning off the engine, the AC works in Civic hybrid. When compared in performance, the ordinary civic gets the credit. But for city riding, the Civic hybrid is the right choice.
With all these merits one should feel happy to buy this car. But on hearing the price some may back off because it is much costly than the ordinary civic. So, if you have a heavy pocket, you could definitely buy this car not just for fuel efficiency but also for a greener earth.
