How to choose your belt?

Here is what you need to look out for before buying yourself a belt

If you are unsure of what kind of belt to buy, get one that is versatile and will go with all your clothes – a simple leather strap, either black or dark brown, with a buckle.

Unless you are very sure that your waist line is going to get larger in the near future, buy a belt that fits.

Try the belt on over your pants or through the loops if you can, the way you would normally wear it – shirt tucked in, if need be. A good belt fits in the middle hole.

Very few men get away without pulling their pants up at least few times a ay. Remember, you belt should feel tight enough to keep your pants up, but not so tight that it feels like a corset.

A new leather belt is generally pretty stiff and will feel uncomfortable for a day or so as it breaks in. don’t give up on it – give it time to soften and conform to your waist.

Wear a belt with shorts that have loops, but in general you shouldn’t tuck your shirt in. Guys who tuck their shirts into shorts are thought to look geeky. If that’s your style, though, go ahead and pull it off.

Trendy studded printed belts are okay, but look sot of foolish except with the right clothes. Don’t buy one and wear it all the time.

A tight belt on a tight pair of pants adds up to discomfort. Buy pants that fit or are a little loose in waist, and then cinch up a belt on them.

And don’t wear a belt with suspenders, unless you are tying to look goofy.

Leg presses

Legs are important part of our body. They withstand the entire weight of body. So, strong legs are always required for every person. Leg presses is an exercise that will give you strong and curly legs. This is a terrific mass-building exercise to add size to your thighs. It can be less stressful than squats to the lower back and allows you to use fairly heavy weights.
Sitting on a leg-press machine, position your feet together against the crosspiece about shoulder-width apart and toes pointed slightly outward.Grasp the handle grips or sides of the seat.Bend your knees and lower  the weight as far as possible without changing the position of your hips.Do not lower the weight so far that your hips start to curl up off  the seat. Pause briefly, then slowly push the weight back up using your heels, not your toes. Do not lock your knees at the top, but rather take the weight to just before lock. Then begin  to lower the weight again in a slow and  deliberate fashion

Cars with internet?

Internet – the word that is ruling the world now. But it has its own limitations. You can't not browse the internet when you are on the move atleast out of an wireless network. Especially when you are driving a car and need to look after your business, send some important mails etc. But the days of internet in your car is no longer. Yes, you can get internet connection in your car but have to wait for this to happen. American automobile manufacturer Chrysler has plans to equip its cars with a system that will enable people to surf the internet while driving. The Uconnect web system is what the company says can bring the wireless internet access to cars’ dashboard. Officials at Chrysler have revealed that Uconnect web uses cellular and WiFi technology to provide instant access to the internet on the move. According to them anyone on the car will be able to check mail, download music, play games and even upload photos. But the company wants to know whether its customers wants such a system to browse behind the wheels. Some other researchers believe that this technology can be used to make cars communicate with themselves so that they could provide increased safety, relieve congestion and manage traffic. Well, if this kind of system do come to exist, then surely it would be cause a revolution in both the automobile and communication fields.

How to make your exit from a party?

After a fun filled evening, it is important how you all it a day. There may be times when you have to leave early and it is important to do it without offending the host or the party spirit? If you know before the event that you will have to leave early, let your host know as soon as possible.  Ideally you should mention it in your initial response to the invitation. If something unexpected happens on the day which means you will have to leave early, you should inform your host as soon as you arrive. Simply apologize and explain the situation.

When the time comes to leave, you should aim to make you exit as quiet as possible. Don’t make big announcements as this may prompt others to think about leaving, thus disturbing the partying mood. Say a few quiet good byes to your close friends or the people you have been speaking to then go and find the host. You have to make sure that you say good bye to the host before you leave. Thank them explaining that you enjoyed the party but that you have to leave. Try to find a particular aspect of the party that you liked and compliment them on it. Then make your exit swift and silent.

A new restaurant in my neighbourhood

It has been recently reported by the local newspaper that a new restaurant is going to be bulilt in our neighbourhood (which is located in the country side of a big city). Some neighbors oppose the building of the new restaurant. I however (likemost of the neighbors), believe that the new restaurant can contribute a lot to our neighborhood, as well as offer new opportunities to the neighbors.

One reason for supporting the building of the new restaurant is that after the the retaurant will be bulilt, I will not have to spend a lot of time in order to go to a restaurnat. Since my neibourhood is pretty far from the city's center I have to drive several hours until I find a good restaurant. The result is that I, as well as the other members of the neighborhood, go only to retaurants only in special occasions (for instance, in birthdates). When the restaurant will be built I will have the opportunity to go to restaurants more often, the way other people from other neigborhoods do.

In addition, the restaurant may offer work for the students who live in our neighborhood. If the restaurant will be successfull, it will naturally need a lot of waiters. The students in my neighborhood, who need to work in a working place that allows flexible working hours, would love finding a job where thaey can earn some money. Therefore, if the restaurant will hire them as waiters, it might help them a lot. I can take myself as a good example: when I was a student I lived in another neighborhood where two restaurants were located. I used to work as a waiter in one of these retaurants, earning money for the university's tuition fees.

In conclusion, I strongly support building the new restaurants in our neighborhood. The restaurant will allow me (as well as to the other neighbors) to eat in a restaurants more often. The new restaurant might also offer job opportunities to the students of the neighborhood.

How to make raw nut butter

I have always liked nuts and wanted to have the nuts in a different texture. The thing which i got in mind was to make a butter out of the raw nuts so that i can have it with the loaf in the morning. I wanted to share the procedure of making the raw nut butter with others and here is how you prepare it.

Place nut in a food processor and chop it until it becomes very fine. Scrape down any particles that build up on the sides and continue processing. Wait until a ball forms and then add 1 tablespoon of oil. There you go. Your raw nut butter is ready. If you need something different you can try the roasted nut butter.

Dry roast nuts in the oven. Spread nuts on a baking sheet and toast at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. remove pan and stir nuts and then continue roasting checking for browness. Cool it down for some time. Then prepare the butter as explained in the above step. After you prepare your butter, store it in a tightly closed container and keep it in a refrigerator. when need take it out of the refrigerator and let it to come down to room temperature then apply.

Hybrid Car in India

With the Toyota's hybrid car Prius, getting a grand welcome in US, its rival in hybrid manufacture Honda has planned to target India. But it is not going to release a new model rather it is going to bring in the hybrid technology to the Honda Civic. The Honda Civic hybrid is no different from the ordinary Civic in its external appearence. They have a made a small changes like bigger tyres for better grip etc. Civic hybrid is 1399cc 94 bhp a lot lesser compared to the ordinary civic ( 1799cc 130bhp ) but the Civic hybrid has got a 20bhp electric motor. So, its net power comes to 114bhp. It is 80 kg more than the ordinary model. Interiors are the same like the ordinary version. But since the battery is behind the seats, the boot space has been reduced.
To save fuel, Honda has introduced a new method. When the car is stopped at one place, the engine is autmatically shut down. So, again when you press the accelerator, the car gets turned on. Even after turning off the engine, the AC works in Civic hybrid. When compared in performance, the ordinary civic gets the credit. But for city riding, the Civic hybrid is the right choice.
With all these merits one should feel happy to buy this car. But on hearing the price some may back off because it is much costly than the ordinary civic. So, if you have a heavy pocket, you could definitely buy this car not just for fuel efficiency but also for a greener earth.

Do Cats kill their Kittens?

When i was a kid i have heard that cats kill their own kittens and also the kitten that was born last. But now, i wanted know whether it was really true. My friend's father is a veterinarian and he cleared all my doubts. Here is what he said.

Some kittens are born with abnormalities that humans cannot detect. For this reason they may not thrive, they may even act or smell 'wrong' to the queen. Where one or two kittens are either killed or abandoned, these kittens are often found to be somehow 'faulty'. The mother simply does not want to waste energy on raising kittens that have little chance of survival.A number of female cats will kill litters born at 'bad times of the year' in order not to use up valuable energy in raising kittens when they themselves have problems in finding adequate food.

It is well known that a mother cat may kill kittens if the nest is disturbed, especially if she is confined and cannot move or hide her litter. This is attributed to a frustrated 'protection' instinct. Unable to protect her kittens against a perceived threat, she kills them in a futile attempt at protecting them. Sometimes she will kill the kittens because they have been handled by another person or animal.

Even tom cats also kill the kittens because, Tom Cats rely greatly on scent and scent markings to determine who is present in their territory and who has visited that territory. If a tom smells the scent of a rival tomcat he may decide that the kittens belonging to his 'harem' have been fathered by the visiting tomcat. This is not in his own genetic interests. Consequently he may kill those kittens. This has two purposes. Firstly it ensures that his queens do not raise kittens fathered by a rival male. Secondly, the queens will usually come on oestrus within a few days and he can be sure of mating them so that subsequent kittens are his.

Indian designs a Flying Saucer

Here is what i read in the local newspaper.
A scientist of indian origin from the university of Florida in the US has conceptualized the design for a plasma propelled flying saucer. The scientist in question is Subrata Roy, University of Florida mechanical and aerospace engineering associate professor. Roy has submitted a patent application for a circular, spinning aircraft design reminiscent of the spaceships seen in countless hollywood films. He calls his design a "wingless electromagnetic air vehicle" or "WEAV". The proposed prototype is small, the aircraft will measure less than six inches across and will be efficient enough to be powered by on board batteries. The propulsion system for Roy's saucer sprouts from his extensive US airforce funded plasma actuator research.
According to Roy, the design can be scaled up and theoretically should work in a much larger form. Even in miniature, though, the design has many uses. The most obvious functions would be surveillance and navigation. The aircraft could be designed to carry a camera and light and be controlled remotely at great distances.
Well, if he does succeed in creating the flying saucers, then the Martians can expect UFO's in their planet. LOL!!!

Smart Pills

Are you a person who take medication on a regular basis and feel that it is an waste of time for you? Wont you feel happy if a new system is invented for taking care of your medication automatically? Well, the days of such systems are not far away.
Scientists are developing microchips and polymer pouches which can release drugs into your body when you need them against specific cells that trigger the disease. One such advancement is the Smart Pill, a single drug put in a polymer pouch that detects chemical signals in the body to prompt the release of drugs at desired therapeutic levels, avoiding the need for frequent administration. The pill doesn't release the drugs it orchestrates their release.
Already, this system has been followed to combat certain cancer, heart disease and schizophrenia. Another advancement in the system is the use of microchips plaed under the skin to deliver drugs ranging from pain medication to chemotherapy. These chips, presently in advanced stages of trials are desinged with tiny doors loaded with multiple drugs and covered with caps. An electrical signal much like a remote control from the outside the body dissolves the caps and releases the medication.
If these pills were successfully developed, then it would definitely create a revolution in the medical field.

Interview question - When your work was criticised?

This interview question is used to find out how the candidate looks upon criticism and how he manages it. If you donot prepare well for this kinda question you can very well be out of the interview. So, check out how to answer this question.

TRAPS: This is a tough question because it’s a more clever and subtle way to get you to admit to a weakness. You can’t dodge it by pretending you’ve never been criticized. Everybody has been. Yet it can be quite damaging to start admitting potential faults and failures that you’d just as soon leave buried.

This question is also intended to probe how well you accept criticism and direction.

BEST ANSWERS: Begin by emphasizing the extremely positive feedback you’ve gotten throughout your career and (if it’s true) that your performance reviews have been uniformly excellent.

Of course, no one is perfect and you always welcome suggestions on how to improve your performance. Then, give an example of a not-too-damaging learning experience from early in your career and relate the ways this lesson has since helped you. This demonstrates that you learned from the experience and the lesson is now one of the strongest breastplates in your suit of armor.

If you are pressed for a criticism from a recent position, choose something fairly trivial that in no way is essential to your successful performance. Add that you’ve learned from this, too, and over the past several years/months, it’s no longer an area of concern because you now make it a regular practice to…etc.

Another way to answer this question would be to describe your intention to broaden your master of an area of growing importance in your field. For example, this might be a computer program you’ve been meaning to sit down and learn… a new management technique you’ve read about…or perhaps attending a seminar on some cutting-edge branch of your profession.

Again, the key is to focus on something not essential to your brilliant performance but which adds yet another dimension to your already impressive knowledge base.
